Today we celebrate the last day of our whitewater staff! Thank you to this amazing team of whitewater guides all returning to their college classes this week in full force. Good luck guys. It's been a heck of a summer! Busy as we have ever been....and as the sun sets on our days....we are reflecting tonight on the perseverance of our staff and the awesomeness of our customers to wear masks when asked and get through an entire summer of visitors from all over the nation during COVID-19 without incident. I am so proud of the our staff for going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and putting their whole hearts into delivering quality river fishing and rafting trips to lots of lucky families this summer. We took our temperatures, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. We asked our guests not to come if needed, and we decided that we are taking Labor Day Weekend off!!!! For the first time since 1976 we are not doing trips after August 31st and will end our whitewater season then. After Labor Day, our fishing trips will resume. This picture was taken by Paul! Thanks Paul for catching this moment at the shop. If you want to come rafting...you've got one more week.

Today we celebrate the love and life of Donald DeArmoun, a dear friend of owners Jared and Sara Forsythe and raft guide for us for four years. Every person that came across Don was charmed by his wit, jokes, and love of adventure and life. There are writings of Don on our old retired bus and little bits of his work at our river shop that includes ingenious things he bought or invented. Don, the world will miss you and we are sad that heaven took you too soon at the young age of 38. A message to the river community from Don's mother: Fill your heart with the magnificence of life. "Grief never ends, but it changes. It is the price of love".

Reminder that the Old MT 200 project will begin on Monday, July 27. A section of Old MT 200 between East Missoula and Bonner, near Marshall Canyon Road, will be reduced to one lane of travel. Drivers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes. Please plan additional time to travel through the area.

Our youngest employee, Andrew Forsythe, made his debut for the summer in his remodeled shoppe. He drove his setup down to the Sea Recreation Area River put in and made $17 from all the private and commercial boaters today. Thank you for supporting his cause if you made a purchase today. He will probably spend it on lures. He will be back again next Saturday if u missed out. 😎❤🤟🎣😍🚤
